About the Artwork
Dark, thin trunks rise in a close vertical rhythm from a soft ground of pale gray, sage, and muted teal. Above them, the canopy is built up in thick impasto: layered gold, ochre, and white with small flecks of orange and blue-green, finished with scattered white spatter. A pale lavender-gray sky shows along the top edge. The heavy texture of the upper band contrasts with the smooth, narrow strokes of the trunks below, giving the panoramic composition a strong horizontal weight and a steady vertical cadence.

Construction and Presentation
The painted fabric is mounted to a rigid board and set inside a floating frame, leaving a narrow reveal between the artwork edge and the frame. No glazing.

Condition: Excellent overall
Observed Details: Minor scuffing and a small surface chip on the back of the backing board. These are not visible when the piece is hung.
